How to glue latex seams

  1. Cut the pieces Cut the required pieces from the latex sheet with a rotary cutter or scissors. Keep the edges clean and even.

  2. Clean the bonding surfaces Degrease both surfaces thoroughly with a lint-free cloth and lighter fluid or isopropyl alcohol.

  3. Apply latex adhesive to both sides Spread a thin, even layer of vulcanising latex adhesive over both surfaces with a spatula.

  4. Join the pieces and roll the seam Position the pieces without tension, starting at one side. Close the seam step by step with even pressure.

  5. Inspect the seam Check the seam for even contact. If small areas have lifted, apply adhesive to those spots.
